hullo. didnt seem to be blogging regularly i know. because my life is boring-er than ever. seriously. i'll skip blogging about SUNDAY because that day wasnt interesting at all. on to MONDAY. yesterday, i came across this forum thread on "GHOSTS", andn i happen to have a link on youtube to this "Singaporean Ghost Video" and after watching it i couldnt stop laughing la. what a horrible piece of work done by BO LIAO singaporeans. had plans to watch this japanese horror movie based on a ps2 game called FORBIDDEN SIREN. original plan was to catch the 1245pm show at Cine. muneh was supposed to be over at place at TEN THIRTY AM, but the hoe arrived at 11 plus. if only i knew he'd be late, i wouldnt have woken up soOoOoO early to shower. ok, so he arrived, slacked around my place for a while, YouTubing, xbox 360ing before realising that we're gonna be damn late for the 1245pm show. so we changed the plan and decided to go for 230pm show instead, so we could laze around somemore.
CINELEISURE ORCHARD, TIME, 218PM.
ok. this is the part where muneh starts being idiotic. we stood there staying at the LCD screen for our show times. then i asked him, "aren't you gonna queue up?"
he replied "we are already in queue what."
he just stood behind these 2 people for 5 whole minutes before realising that those 2 people were just standing there having a chat only. while the real QUEUE was on the OTHER side -_- the time muneh was being blind, the queue was EMPTY, and by the time we joined the "empty" queue, there were already like 4 people lined up before us. but it's okay la, orchard was REALLY empty today, in comparison to a weekend where the crowd levels increase by 400%.
watched the movie over a hotdog combo, damn bloody nice, it was quite filling. here's my review for the movie. the movie wasnt good. the movie standards are really dropping nowadays, a brief synopsis of the movie.. FORBIDDEN SIREN is about this tiny island in japan, which had a not-so-good past. and there was a legend that whenever a SIREN is heard at night, it is most advisable to stay indoors, and not go outside. the movie unfolds well in the beginning, before collapsing in the middle parts, where some stuff make NO SENSE AT ALL. for example, a weird mutated insect confronts the protagonist, and she screams and runs away, and that creature never made any more appearance later on. so... what the hell was that insect? the movie's ending was quite unresolved too. i'll give this movie a 2.5 out of 5 stars. just a so-so movie, though the movie is not draggy, the events come by fast, the downsides are those parts that make no sense.
after movie, the day was still young. only 4pm. so i decided to play pool over at the usual place. and i suck like hell today. i think i missed 98.8% of my shots today. played till like 6pm. before going off to buy my guitar strings at the music store nearby. ate at some deserted place in the same building before going back home.
MSN messenger is being fucked up now. my desktop doesnt seem to be signing into MSN and giving me crappy reasons. so i'm forced to use my laptop's messenger. what's wrong with my connection? this one week holiday is so gonna bore me to death. no plans no nothing. rot at home whole day and just sleep. back to my old after-Os break lifestyle. i miss school already.
