today.

is a farking boring day.

i mean it.

the night before, i was super tempted to watch a manUTD live champions league match.

well,

i was actually yawning like hell already when i sat on the couch to watch it at 4am.

not until 2nd half, where the play gets even more exciting. and my favourite team ended up winning. i was damn happy la : D

but oh crap, looked at the clock, almost frigging 6am.

and i have to wake up later at 930am -_-

so, i need not say it

you guys can judge whether i'm late or not =P

it's obvious for those people who know me well enough

i kinda swore an oath over not taking cabs ever again, but i broke that oath today.

i was an hour late for class.

yeah, so i was apologising like hell to my teacher

the gay part about today.

after 230pm onwards, i went to Starbucks @ Cityhall to have a drink. i brought my laptop out today, with intentions of actually revising for my JLPT exam this coming sunday. but,

the sofa was too comfy, i ended up playing, rather than studying.

oh ya regarding JLPT exam, i just had my replacement class yesterday, it was the final lesson. and my teacher was Yamane sensei. shes damn funny la.

and nice, she gave us all a kitkat bar each, wishing us luck for the exam this Sunday.

for those who dont know, KitKat, in Japanese-English sounds like Kitto Katsu.

which translates to Sure Win.

in Japan, it's common for students to have a bar of KitKat before any exam.

oh ok back to what im complaining about.

yes.

i am so fucking bored. just now at starbucks. i just wished i had some form of company. i ended up sitting there for 2 hours before walking over to Peninsular Plaza to check out some camera shops.

No Polaroid cameras.

wtf.

my bag weighed like a gunny sack. too many papers, and other crap and stuffed inside. but i guess it's fucking heavy beacuse of my laptop charger.

so, i cant find my camera there, i will have to do more research again on Camera stores.

6pm.

i went to Dhoby Ghaut's Zone X to check up the new Silent Hill Arcade. they have this annoying "curtain-like" thing hanging on the machine. it's farking annoying for spectators to see through the screen. wish someone tears it down or something

the game looks good. but singapore took a looooooooooooooooooooooooooooong time to import this.

oh well. shall try it someday.

now it's 7pm.

im really tired. today wasnt a fruitful day for me.

i guess i'll go to bed.

if you had to let it go, and these dreams keep you awake.

reached home about 330am.

tired tired tired tired

im seriously going really broke.

today was fun though. i went for chocoholics outing !! even though the turnout of people was low, and i really mean LOW. since there were only 3 of us in the end -_-

i ended up leading the group even though i wasnt the boss lol

we sticked to the theme and went for a chocolate fondue at Haagen Daaz, and THAT was my breakfast + lunch okay.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

but it was realllllllly good : )

this was a special fondue, catered more to chocoholics like us. but i think pineapple tastes really horrible even though i dipped more than 3/4 of it into strawberry chocolate -_-

vivo arcade seriously sucks.

went to Suntec for some reason and later realized we're wasting my energy walking around there and went to Dhoby instead. went to SPOTLIGHT to get my mannequin head to support my wig

it's freaking $17 la!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

for a piece of shaped styrofoam, it's obviously overpriced.

8pm.

end of chocoholics outing.

11pm onwards, watched the live manutd match. im seriously annoyed la, they lost 1-0 to the opposing team. i dont understand how Tevez could miss the best chance to equalize with a simple tap in, but he ended up kicking it wide -_-

oh ya, here's my wig picture. i love it. but i think it's a little freaky since it feels so human to me.

*big yawn*

ok i think i better go. it's almost 5am and i need to wake up at 9am later to go out.

night.

always the silent treatment, i kept my mouth shut tight.

hi. a quick update because im really tired now, i dont know why. the weather was quite hot today, but i still didnt sweat much, lucky. but NOW, about 645pm, the sky is looking all nice and dark. please rain!!! it will be damn shiok to sleep if it rains : D

i was actually early for my first lesson of Pre-Advanced 2 Japanese Course. despite me leaving the house at 1045am when my class starts at 1130am. i woke up at 1015am -_- sleep was super tempting even though the sun was fierce in the morning. now i dont really bother to style my hair much before leaving the house. just rub some wax on my hair, crunch the ends, spray all over and i leave.

New Japanese Classes.

new teacher. 3 new people. i seen one guy out of the 3 before, but not the other 2. first class was nothing much, i know most of the stuff that's taught. i think by tmr, stuff that i duno will be kicking in. i was dozing off in class, my head is just damn heavy la. this new teacher... oh well, like most other teachers that taught me, the standard is there, great humour and style. but i notice the difference in most teachers is, the time the assign for breaks. my very first teacher gives a 5-10 minute break every hour. but this new teacher, she gives only one break in 3 hours -_- and that is, only at 1pm.

so i had to contain my hunger for an hour and a half. plus closing eyes. no food = no energy

the last 10 minutes of class, we played a game. it's damn fun la hahah. it's like Charades, except we are not using hand signs, instead we have to give hints in Japanese.

230pm.

class ended.

on the way out, i saw my ex-teacher from my previous pre-advanced course.

so she recognized some of us walking out as we used to be her students duh. so we talked a little, not until one part i heard, made me gloomy.

it went like this.

sensei : minna, mata asobi ni kite kudasai!! Kurimasu no party ne!!

everyone else went like "haiiiiii"

translation : everyone, come over to my place again for a christmas party soon!!

but i shut up.

because.

i know i wont be around by then.

seriously fuck you MINDEF.

thanks for ruining Christmas 07 for me.

THANK YOU.

: (

3pm.

i went over to Fortune Wigs @ Far East Plaza. at first, i walked past it. because i was a little shy to go in alone. because i think they sell only female wigs. after a while, i just walked in la.

surprisingly, their staff was quite friendly. they accomodated me warmly throughout my time spent in the store. there was this balding ah mah in the store HAHAHAH

ok. sorry about that.

and so,

she let me try on a couple of different wigs, all are female ones of course. because the male wigs are too farking short. and i saw this wig, a regular shoulder length female hairstyle, but it's farking $569 WTF?!?!?!

almost made a wrong choice of buying a wig, not until she recommended me the very last wig. then i liked it. good quality, and it feels like i could style it to my desired messy style with ease. so i bought it.

pricetag : $300

special shampoo : $20

total expenditure : $320

ouch.

but i still have one last thing in mind to buy to cater to my new wig. a styrofoam stand. bah, guess i'll go down to SPOTLIGHT someday to get that one.

and get some knitting stuff too. i dont know why, but im actually interested to knit those simple patterns.

YESTERDAY

went out. hahah i was late. i thought ecchi was joking about meeting at 10am since he keep saying i "siao". so i slept a little longer than usual in the morning. only to find out im running late, so i stormed out of the house and flagged a taxi.

ok so i was late. gomen. hahahha

went around to search for my team's favourite away jersey. found it.. costs fucking $110. im willing to spend since i love them so much. but it's err, a little big for an S size.

slacked at the arcade for the rest of the day later. i get bored of Arcades easily since the only game i know how to play is DAYTONA -_- i like the TAIKO drum game but i dont dare to try out since im a noob. later everyone laugh at me

total expenditure in a span of 2 days - $150 + $320 = $470

and im freaking poor now. i'm left with only my emergency money stash in my wallet. which is less than $200.

and this saturday, i think im gona spend more than $50 because of the Chocoholics Club Outing.

watching those $50 notes go one by one makes me sad.

now, im struggling with managing Japanese studies with Piano classes. because i can barely find time to practise on the piano now -__- my teacher is so gona scold me like hell tmr.

Piano Exams in March 08

hope i dont screw things up.

ok i think im really going to shower and sleep. just too freaking tired.

bye.

always the silent treatment

hi. just have a feeling to post thing since it's been bugging me this whole fucking day -_-

im pretty pissed at someone today because of what happened in the morning.

damnit, how the hell i know you're having a "bad mood" and if you really do, fucking control it please. getting scolded just like that pisses me off like hell.

seriously, im beginning to dislike you.

unless you change. i wont ever maintain eye contact with you neither will i even talk first.

hello again. after a week's break. i think this is the worse time to blog actually. because im due to leave the house in less than an hour's time for piano class -___-

well, i guess i'll try to make this post for today short and sweet, updating only on the juicy bits of my life. so far, i've been rather cheerful for the past week or so : )

SOMEDAY LAST WEEK (forgot which day)

i was told to come down to DFS Galleria as a replacement guide since the slots were full that day. actually i was already told to do this about 2 MONTHS before in advanced, but i cant confirm because i was afraid i might have other things on. and so, i just went to Galleria at 830am.

was told that the students were only arriving at 955am -___- wasted my time rushing down, so we had breakfast at Mac near Lido. seriously now i find the Hotcakes meal a little too much for me.

after all the briefing and grouping and other shit, we finaly got to meet our students. but so sad la, i'm not a guide alone by myself, im just sticking to someone's group as a "helper" finally got to know that the group assigned to us was ALL GUYS -___-

i was a little disappointed la, NOT BECAUSE THEY WERE GUYS, but because they were quite boring, as in, the anti-social type. so our touring in the morning to Chinatown was kinda boring. it's like no chance to chat with them.

NOT UNTIL, we met another group, they were all guys again, but this time we combined the groups together because the guide for the other group was having problems communicating with them because she couldnt understand Japanese totally. but i like this idea of combining because her group guys were wayyyy friendlier. and there was this particular guy in their group who was really loyal to his girlfriend, hahah. he wanted to find a "couple gift" so that his gf and him could wear together. aww romantic dude.

overall it was quite enjoyable still. i'm still new to this line even though i've helped in another Touring job about 4 months back. my Japanese langauge skills are still warming up. in the end, was forced to take pics with them, well, i have to succumb to their requests as they wanted their memories on film.

NEXT WEEK.

14th of November.

got an SMS from EEELing earlier saying she cant make it for her position for today's guiding job. so i took over her. yay!!! thanks EELING!!!!!

835am.

i rushed to York hotel like siao, because i was told that it starts from 830am. heng, the event havent started yet. but a group of familiar faces were already there, the same guides from the week before. AND, they were having a shortage of guides because many havent turned up. but i like today's system more. no numbers or groups or nothing, it's just based on first come, first serve basis. this time i got a group of GIRLS :D:D:D:D:D:D

took them to taka, cine, chinatown, suntec. and seriously these girls can really SHOP. later on the last 1 and a half hours of the day, we had Lunch at some restaurant i randomly recommended -_- The Asian Kitchen @ CityLink. so, we ate the Chinese Cuisine. but i got really surprised when they offered to pay for my meal at the end.

Honto ni arigatou~

we even took Neos together -_- they were really nice la. fond memories captured and never forgotten.

15th November (yesterday)

got lost in the morning while attempting to find FUrama River Front Hotel. took a cab there instead -_- really lucky that we could get a cab at that time in the morning leh. even though the trip was barely 10 minutes, the fare was $5+++ thanks to the morning peak hour charges. and once again, i got a group of girls again : D

took them to basically almost the same places as yesterday minus Chinatown. because i know for sure, they would complain about the heat. so at least i kept them under aircon most of the time. today's group was different from yesterday's group in a way. firstly, they are not hardcore shoppers. secondly, they were really HYPER ACTIVE. they chatted a lot, really loudly, but the thing engraved in my mind forever would be the time when i brought them to macdonalds @ Marina in the morning for breakfast, while they were buying stuff from the menu from the cashier guy, they squealed "SANKYUUUUUUUU" in unison.

super cute la!!!!!

oh ya, i have to express a little anger here. when we were at Suntec's PLayground level. my group was trying out sample from a store selling Sweets. but in the end, they didnt want to purchase it, and the lady at the shop was a farking bitch. she uttered, "terrible.." and shook her head when the girls didnt want to buy. seriously pissed me off.

ok, im running out of time. i have to quickly summarise up things now. and so, even though my job on 15th ended about 2 hours earlier than usual, i'm still happy for having the oppurtunity to be a guide. I CERTAINLY DONT MIND DOING THIS JOB EVERYDAY. it's not for the money (since we're underpaid anyway) but it's for the interaction and chance to put my conversational skills to the test, and the experience.

i'd like to thank Siti for introducing me to this job. a really big thank you to you.

lastly, pictures.

and

i contradicted what i said yesterday like crazy.
