booked out. the feeling is priceless. especially when we are marching down to the ferry terminal with our field packs. no matter how little sleep i have, when im booking out, i'll suddenly be charged with so much energy. that's the power of being released out of confinement.

January 11th.

possibly leaving the island at the earliest time so far. 730am. but we're not going home yet. we have this dumb excursion to the Singapore Discovery Center for Nation Education purposes. seriously i felt like just walking out there and go home. NS is just a waste of time.

5pm.

outing to KTV @ Woodlands. i didnt sing much, because i dislike some songs. and neither do i have the voice to sing after that shouting in camp. ate at MOS burger for the first time in about 3 months. though overpriced, i still like thier burgers.

January 12th.

supposedly a movie outing organized by me. some couldnt come so it was sad. there isnt really any good movie worth watching, so i dropped the idea. my original backup plan for the day is to either play pool, or do shopping. there were only 3 of us anyway. since my NS pay came in 2 days ago, shopping sounds like a great idea : D

and YES, since i've booked out. it's time for me to pamper myself with the food that i wana try out.

ate some cheese prata over at Wisma. overpriced, but i love the type of cheese they use. then went over to Kinokuniya to check out some stuff. i seriously want Kodansha's Japanese Furigana Dictionary. but it's like over $100. oh well. have to wait for my next pay.

halfway had to temporarily pangseh them because i have to go for Piano class. i played like shit. havent touched the shitty home piano for about a month.

5pm.

returned back to Orchard. but i went back to my Japanese school to catch up with loss time there. the place seriously has changed so much over the renovation. initially wanted to chat with my ex teachers and the staff there for about 15 minutes. but i ended up talking cock there for over 45 minutes. lol.

this is freaking unexpected. while walking in the underpass, i saw my NS company's 2nd LIEUTENANT. of all places i see him here. no way can they ever recognize me through my disguise lol.

6pm.

over at Wisma. here's the start of my shopping spree. my spending budget for the day? $200. there was a sale going on, and up to 70% off selected clothes. but those clothes look like fark la. no wonder they wana badly get rid of them. after much hesitation and trying, i settled on 2 long sleeve tops. and that freaking set me back $150. WTF.

2nd location, Pacific Plaza beside Lido for shoes.

seriously the sneakers that i always wear out, are getting from bad to worse. the soles are like wearing out, and some parts are tearing off. and i've always loved brown shoes. since they go well with my color code. which are mainly dark colors. browsed through a shop selling lots of different sneakers. i saw this brown pair of converse shoes, but i didnt wana buy because converse shoes are relatively thin, and the comfort isnt that good.

bought a pair of globe shoes over at Ripcurl. when i place my foot in, it feels like sex. so soft, so comfy. it's like having an orgasm with every footstep i take. hahaha. and on impulse, i zapped my card for it. without realizing i've overshot my budget for shopping.

total shopping expenditure for shopping : $255

walked over to Far East to do some window shopping. and i'm looking for a nice slingbag to replace my current one. this red slingbag sucks. been usng it since i was sec 2. so do your math to estimate how old it is. found the bag that captivated me going for $40. lucky this time, i controlled myself finally, and decided not to buy, YET.

740pm

am hungry. we walked quite in circles so, we sat down for a while, and i used my ipod to locate for any pizza restaurants in town. sadly, i thought there was this pizza place in Wisma, but i think it got replaced with a hongkong restaurant instead. fuck. so i found a replacement quick. California Pizza Kitchen over at the extreme end of orchard. i heard from my ex sec school friends that the pizzas there are good. it's up to my tastebuds to agree or not.

8pm.

the restaurant looks good. the ambience is perfect. to me la. lots of ang mohs around. which is odd. because why would ang mohs wana eat food that they could find anytime in their own country? so we were led to the basement floor.

ordered 3 pizzas, and the bill came up to $84.40

pizzas are ok, nothing special. i still think Pizza Hut could rival with them in terms of taste. but service wise, california pizza wins hands down. and what a coincidence, the group of guys sitting behind us, are apparently NS MEN. and from the way they talk, i think they are also serving BMT just like me. hahah.

10pm

walked over to borders to a random mag so i could read it in camp during my free time. and once again, unexpectedly i saw someone i know. but this time it's not someone from camp la. i saw Cheryl. the girl i used to like 3 years ago. she looks so much prettier now, and taller. but she was with her boyfriend. and it's the very same guy too -_-

seeing her just makes me think back of the way we met 3 years ago. it's so like an "out of a movie scene". i dont bother typing it out since it sounds to good to be true anyway.

to sum it up. this day has been quite well spent for me. hahah. though full of coincidences, shopping has been fun!!

now i'll just have to manage my finances properly. i can be really spendthrift sometimes. i already spent 50 bucks purely just on the day i booked out on TAXI fares. if only there were such a thing as a TAXI CONCESSION.

im really so restless now. im going back to camp later. wonder if i should stock up on more snacks. boredom is killing me when i got nothing to do. time for me to just go comfort myself with junkfood and take a nap later before going back to that dreaded place.

it's too late to apologize

wanted to post this yesteday. but forgot. well, this topic is famous among Japanese as they like discussing about blood types as they actually believe it can tell the personality of a person through his or her blood type. though scientists have dismissed this theory as a myth, but it's still interesting as it's actually quite true to a certain extent. i've always thought my blood type was O+ but after medical checkups, i found out that my real blood type is actually B+

visit this link to see what does your blood type say about your personality! and for snippets, also compatibility with other blood types, even though i dont think it's that true for that part.

http://www.issendai.com/rpgs/takemywings/bloodtypes.htm

here's what it says about me.

Type B

People with blood type B are the most practical of the blood groups. They are specialists in what they do. When they start a project, they spend extra time understanding and trying to follow directions than others might. When they are doing something, all of their attention is focused on it. They tend to stick to a goal and follow it through to the end, even if it seems impossible. They tend to be less than cooperative, as they like to follow their own rules and their own ideas. They are individualists. B type people pay attention to their thoughts a little more than their feelings, and therefore can sometimes seem cold and serious.

People with blood type B are often considered more relaxed, freewheeling, and unconventional than other types, although not necessarily to an unacceptable degree. In anime, the genki, off-the-wall types are type B, along with any kind of well-intended character who's ruled by their impulses.

hahah. i'm gonna watch "My Boyfriend is Type B" now, a story about debunking the japanese myth of blood types revolving around couple compatibility. about some dude who dates a girl who's type A, but her cousin, a dating specialist ends up trying to break them up because she is a strong subscriber to the blood type theory. but as cliched as it can be, the movie flows to have the guy eventually falling in love with the female character. i just wana watch for fun la, just to see how true can it can be, stereotyping a person with a Type B.

going back to camp later in the evening. the feeling is really fucked up.

i wish there was something at least i could say.

hello people. im back again!. this time, im really, really fortunate because this is one of my shortest days spent in camp before getting to book out again! the last time i booked in was tuesday night, i stayed till thursday, and i booked out that very evening!

but shit happened the day before i booked out la. we went to IMT, i have no idea what it stands for, but it's basically a virtual shooting range to prepare us for the real live firing range on January 9th. and i was fucking nervous la. the sargeants were screaming like hell at us, then i kept making mistakes, i was shaking like hell when handling my rifle. then i made a dumb mistake by accidentally tilting my rifle sideways, with the barrel facing the person beside me for about 2 seconds. and i got mindfucked big time by this asshole Sargeant whom i dont even know.

and within that moment, my emotional status went overdrive, and my eyes watered and i broke down in front of him la. i feel like a sissy. but im really not used to some asshole shouting in my face with vulgarities on fullblast without absolute mercy. im a soft recruit by nature. and guess what that asshole threatened me with? confinement over the weekend. fucking dickhead.

but, he was just mindfucking me all along. so he didnt mean it. man, some sargeants really have to learn some fucking manners seriously.

more or less, my PTP (Physically Training Phase) has ended, and now with the advancement to BMT(basic military training) phase. i think life is gonna get worse. i have to mentally prepare myself again before booking in tomorrow evening.

anyway on to better stuff worth mentioning.

TODAY, 5th of January 2008.

movie outing. watched National Treasure : Book Of Secrets. and i found it to be nice. but somehow, i preferred the first movie. hahah. it's really interesting la. though pure fiction, it just seemed so real. that you just wished that there was really such a thing as that that secret Book that is kept by the US president. with the cool use of technology by the main characters. and the high speed chases and adventure through the chain of events, it just keeps ur eyes glued to the screen for 2 hours.

my rating, 8.5 out of 10 : D

after the movie, i decided to visit my Japanese teachers over at Ikoma. but sadly, i went a little too late, and most of them have already went back -_- and one was off that day. so, i was damn sian la -_- i was hoping to see them again, and talk to them to refresh my rusty Japanese language skills.

went to eat dinner over at Lido. ate Taco Bell. i havent eaten there for over 2 farking years -_- or even longer. so the feeling was nostalgic. the taco tasted great. but i wished there was more mozzarella serving. even though i farking hate vegetables of any form, i ate all my greens in my taco. the cheesy taste overpowered the shitty taste of the greens anyway.

chatted over dumb topics after eating hahah. can say it's just "general knowledge" la, looking at it in a positive perspective. and not the polluting the mind of a minor.hahaha.

so that's a Satuday well spent : D

time reverse.

i forgot the date, but i watched AVP2 liao. and ALL i can say is. the movie is not worth the money. it fucking sucks. and the way the director was talking about it, was as if it's gonna be damn good, but it's a HUGE disappointment seriously. thank god the movie lasted 90 minutes. and i almost dozed off during the movie. some characters in the movie are quite useless, it's like they're better cut from the movie. fight scenes are fucking blur, all i see are greasy shit rolling all around. and WHAT's WITH THE IDEA OF SENDING DOWN ONE PREDATOR TO TAKE ON ALL THE ALIENS? at least i wouldnt be half as pissed if they sent down at least a group of predators. this movie pisses off most loyal AVP fans. so what with the extra bloodshed? it's all unnecessary when the action and the way the movie unwinds is worse than shit.

hahah. currently now, i'm listening to more R&B, a far cry from the usual kind of music i listen to. the lyrics may be quite cheesy, but overall the structure of the song is just relaxing.

ahh. it's been a while since i got the oppurunity to actually watch a proper match of football LIVE. like, FINALLY la. my favourite team is due to start their match soon. so im gonna sign off now. byebye!

tell me how much time has passed?
