happy new year everyone. i know my last update was eons ago. i'll try to do a summarized update of my life for the past 3 weeks in a while soon

for now, im REALLY happy to be back home in the comfort of my room, bed and aircon and using my laptop like the old days. but it's only temporary. i'll have to go back to fucking camp soon.

and all i can describe army life is, in 3 words, REALLY FUCKED UP. i had a hard time coping.

argh ok, top priority now for me is my precious sleep. my body clock has resetted to army sleep timing now, so now, it's 115am, and im really, really fucking tired.

so, till then, next update soon, hopefully.

Acceptance.

this is my last and final update. after this, the blog would be frozen until i can find a day i can book out of camp. oh well. life is like this. i cant run away from goverment related matters. or else i'll end up in jail, and there goes my future.

i cant possible update everything that happened during the time i didnt blog, so i'll just pick up certain events that stay in my head.

8th december.

cutepetz's birthday party at her giant mansion.

got to play my favourite Wii game, Cooking Mama!

had a great swim in her pool, never felt ever so refreshing to be swimming again, even though her pool wasnt deep.

her dad makes decent Hokkien Mee. i liked his cooking.

took about 18 photos that day using my lovely Polaroid. somehow -_- i only have like 13 on me, wonder where some of them went to?

had a cream fight later -_- i was the first to get hit, but NEVERMIND! i got my revenge later on by pushing himura into the pool hahahah : D

stayed on later at her house to catch the football match live, and my favourite team won! such an adrenaline-pumping match.

and LAST minute, i got yet another Japanese Touring job the next day -_- but i gladly took up the offer even though i know i'll be out of energy.

9th December

slept like only 3 hours and left for the hotel at Farrer Park. i thought i was gonna be super late, but i ended up 20 minutes early -_-

this is a TOTALLY different touring company, so as i thought, it was a totally different system. no longer the "bring the students to whever they want" type of job. now i have a SCHEDULE to follow, for the sake of their learning purposes -_-

and SO, my gut feeling was right. i predicted it to be all girls and yes, i have a group of 11 girls.

i have to admit, what there were supposed to do for 7 hours that day, was quite BORING, and draggy. and the group was too farking big, they wanted to split up, i had no idea whether im even allowed to do that, but i just let 8 of them roam on their own, while i stayed with 3.

went to SGH, and spent like 3 hours there wasting my farking time -_-

rounded up the day with shopping for the girls. this day was seriously normal to me. for my touring job.

BUT, howerver, i have yet to get my pay. i hope the person gets it ASAP and KEEPS it till i can book out.

TODAY. (12th of december)

Hori sensei made me takoyaki! she ended class 15 minutes earlier and started bringing in boxes of takoyaki she made the night before. and they tasted great! we ate like 2 out of the 3 boxes and i was farking full.

3pm.

met the usual sgcafe group for my last and final outing with them. seriously, my mood was severely pulled down today. the pre-enlisting blues are just this annoying.

thank you guys for those who wished me the best of luck. i know i will definitely have a problem adapting to military life, but i'll just try to live with it.

just now, i browsed through my collection of polaroid pictures taken over the past few weeks.

memories.

after some time, tears started dripping, i dont know why also.

and I SO need to highlight this part before closing this final entry. just now when i was talking to EELing on MSN, i was just ranting about certain people. and what she apparently told me, made so much sense that i had an urge to post it here.

some PEOPLE, seriously, throw their old friends aside once they get to know someone they assume is "better" to them. so much for being there for them in the past eh?

it's getting late. i think im sleeping for good.

goodbye everyone.

so, i was just your ragdoll all along. have fun with other boys then.

um hello.

im quite sleepy now as im blogging, gonna sleep in about 15 minutes time if i can get this post over and done with ASAP -_-

6th of December.

the night before that, i was PLANNING to actually sleep at 8pm, for the sake of my body's screwed up clock. but shit happened, so i ended up chatting and chatting on MSN till it's like 3am??? wtf? so i had like only 2 and a half hours of sleep before waking up again later -_-

reached FULLERTON ONE at 830am sharp. a group of students were already there. so it's quite obvious that they're here for the touring job. thank god Siti msged me telling it's NOT Fullteron Hotel, or else i would have waited ages there for nothing.

so the usual dude turns up later, at about 840am, and fuck la, they're sorting us into groups again -_- something which i really dont like!!!! i prefer the "see and pick the group of your choice" method. oh well.

855am

the students came over. so i held my paper up, and i saw this group of guys walking towards me. so my heart kinda sank at that moment, as i already got a gut feeling at the start that my group today is gona be all guys and yes IT IS. so crap, asked them to introduce themselves and bla bla bla.

it was a little awkward at first because my brain wasnt tuned to Japanese language yet, so i had to think REALLY hard before speaking. and ended up screwing up grammar and words. fark, super embarassing la. this botak guy keeps talking to me, so i eventually opened up and starting talking more, eventually picking up the momentum to speak Japanese with confidence.

dudes wanted to go Chinatown, so duh, i brought them there as the first destination. seriously, i dont know why tourists wanna go there!!! it's like a boring stretch of shitty shops. the botak guy kept telling me that he wana buy cheap stuff. so yeh i brought them around Chinatown. they ended up not buying anything and just walk walk see seee.

this group is really corny la. they can be really random at times. like for eg, at chinatown, i heard something like "koko de kenka ni nattara, dou suru?"

and one of them asked if i disliked him, i said no, then he said "I LOVE YOU"

wtf.

and the random apologising and shaking of hands -_-

sometimes if they make really small mistakes or me complimenting them on the slightest of things, they would shake my hand saying either "sankyuu" or "SOUREE"

hahahah.

recommended them to eat some Ba Gua. they seem to like it. after practically going through almost all of the shops, they got bored and asked me to bring them to somewhere else instead -_- since they dislike the heat, Marina Square appeared in my head as the next destination.

2nd Destination.

Marina Square.

rested at starbucks for some time, while i used this as an oppurtunity to log into Sgcafe using my laptop since i brought it out, and configure Goldfish's ipod touch.

they didnt shop much -_- so i brought them to the arcade and watched them play for a while. this guy went to play the lousy Drum Mania V2 machine. he's reasonably good at it, but that machine farking lousy because the volume was SO LOW that the sound of him wacking the plastic drum was overwhelming the speakers. farking funny la.

since the bowling alley was nearby i randomly suggested to play, surprisingly they agreed to it seriously hahahaha. coming to singapore on a tour and playing BOWLING on their free time is wtf. hahaha. like, they're 10480157025 other MUCH better things to do.

and oh ya, some of them got really retarded at the end. throwing 2 balls at once. i thought he would clear the pins since he's cheating already but guess what happened......

the two balls crisscrossed each other and both ended up in the gutter hahahah!!!!

ok la, i know im A LOUSY BOWLER.

99% gutter shots -_-

and they're good at it. but lucky im not LAST on the table ^^

someone else is. hahahaha.

seriously playing only ONE game of bowling took up so much precious time. i have to return them back by 3pm. so i brought them to Orchard lastly to spend their last hour and a half there since i guess they'll like it there. orchard is a so-called "teenagers' paradise"

they bought a lot of accessories -_- really. someone said he wanted to search for a wallet. didnt we go to a wallet shop earlier at Marina Square??? -_- poor him, he didnt get to buy his wallet.

Far East was our final and last place. and even though we reached there about 10 minutes before deadline, they still roamed about and continued shopping. time management is errr. but it's ok, i rounded them up and we reached there on time. no wonder one of them was damn anxious when he called up his sensei to tell him they might be late haha since a few days before they went past the deadline.

they're not bad after all. i thought getting guys would be a total nightmare if they turn out to be those ultra boring type. but this group was fun, retarded at times, still yet warm and friendly. i miss them already T_T

before we bid goodbye, this tall guy with the cap, arguably the most friendly guy in the group, gave me a hug, and a sourvenir as a parting gift. and it's a joke book in Japanese.

the other botak guy gave me a Japanese top (独楽) shook hands and we parted. took a picture using my Polaroid, but the picture turned out blur because of shaky hands (i didnt take it hor) damn... if that wasnt the last exposure left inside the camera, at least i could have probably gotten a better picture on the 2nd shot.

goodbye guys. i hope you enjoyed yourselves on your short time trip here !! i know im a lousy guide, honto ni gomen ne.

goldfish quite dumb, at the start of the day we had manpower issues, not enough guides, if she volunteered on the spot, she could have gotten a separate paycheck and a group of her own -_-

$36 goes to your own spending leh.

BUT haha, you're on your own!!!

farking tired to update on anymore shit after that.

fuck, almost 3am liao.

i better sleep. tmr's Cutepetz birthday party. i cant wait to swim. but i think her house is gona be crawling with visitors.

goodnight.

these arms remain stretched out to you, maybe someday you'll accept them.

5th of December

is a cold and relatively boring day. it's been pouring for the whole day, but now, 625pm, seems like the heavy rains have stopped. the drizzles continue. i had a 12 hour sleep the night before from 1030pm onwards and it felt super great ; D

i brought my polaroid camera out yesterday to class. my teacher was really fascinated with it as it's her first time actually feeling one and seeing how it functions. haha. took a picture with classmates. for my sake. and for my teacher's sake, i took one more and gave it to her.

after class i went to search for the cheapest possible Polaroid type-600 film. here's the results i can gather.
ALMOST every shop selling camera stuff outside peninsular plaza rips people off on Polaroid film. can you believe some retard uncles telling me the twin pack goes for $70 ? wtf? no wonder their shops always like no business. i got mine for $42. im really farking poor now. but at least im happy to get those film.

and i can more less confirm now that the camera is MINE~!

my father seems to be in a bad mood today. i wonder what's with him.

me : does the fridge have any Orange juice?

father : *gives a cold stare and walks out of the house*

me : wtF?

ahhh updating the weather situation now from what i see from 630pm onwards. the rains are getting heavier. this is truly the best time to sleep. i guess i will. soon.

there's nothing much i can say now, i have my touring job tmr at Fullerton Hotel as the starting point at 830am! i cant wait man. hahah, in order for me NOT to oversleep, i shall turn in at 8pm tonight. so i could have a looooooong nice rest.

and lastly.

film may be expensive to buy, but memories caught on film? priceless.

hi. havent been updating for some time. been really tired by the time i get home, im enjoying my last few moments of freedom to the fullest before i'm disappearing off from next thursday onwards.

i'm saving the words for now.

because i plan to do a really long post one day before enlistment. to summarize how i felt throughout the whole of 2007. it's been not really a great year, but still, with the new friends i've made. my life is changed forever.

backtracking. the usual.

today. my piano teacher literally killed me. last friday she was in particularly a good mood even and didnt get much nagging from her. but today's different. her temper became really SHORT. and im constantly getting scolded every 15 seconds. so piano time today was really hell-ish.

ahah. i was frigging late for Japanese class today. i woke up at 1130am. and class starts when i just opened my eyes -_- but im not at the correct place. but somehow i was still damn relaxed, went to switch off my aircon, and switched on the laptop. lol seriously WTF was i thinking?!

so i ended up reaching class at 115pm. after buying my lunch at the Pan store below. fuck! they increased the price of my favourite bread! cheesy tuna milk bread is <3 i could have sworn when i bought it a few days ago it was $1.50 and now it's $1.60!!! must be the rising flour prices -_-

i missed the majority of today's class content, but i guess it's better than not turning up totally.

after class i went to search for shops selling lovely polaroid type 600 film. apparently my uncle passed me his polaroid camera a few days ago, and no words could explain how fucking happy i was. at least i saved a hundred bucks from buying a new one.

here's a pic.

i got ripped off from a fucking pushy sales-tactic camera store a few days ago for POlaroid 600 film. but in that moment of greed, since other shops werent even open, i bought from them. i regretted like hell ever since. charging me $35 for a pack of 10 is WTF. the market price now is $21. oh well. just hope that idiot uncle's shop catches a fire or something.

went wendy's house to play with her cute adorable cats.

christmas cat!

TEA PARTY (1st of December)

hokay, and so my morning was spent rushing to Cityhall, reaching there about 930am. to search for film to test for this oldskool camera. so that part is pretty much explained earlier.

10am

was wondering why the MRT station was damn empty. where's the crowd of people expected to be in Lolita? so i walked a little deeper into CityLink to catch the WIFI wave

WTF MENZ!

they changed the timing to 12pm all of a sudden..

ok.

fast forward.

tea party was great. i liked the sweet stuff, but i think we wasted a ton of food lol. i bought 3 small cakes, but nobody bothered to eat them -_- so that's $10 down the drain.

somehow, during the party, i got hit by depression spells suddenly. so that can explain why i suddenly go quiet for long periods of time and walk alone, staring into blankness. because my mind still couldnt accept the fact that im going to be introduced into military life soon.

somehow i managed to snap out of it, for a while.

i need more chocolates to suppress this feeling.

5pm.

went over to the hostess' home. which is THE perfect house. to me. i can barely find any flaws with her home. it's HUGE, the designs are gorgeous, and the main TV has a PS3, XBOX360, Wii. what more can i say?! it's pure heaven in there. plus she has 3 adorable cute doggies!

we played played played until 1030pm, we left her home. and i have a direct bus back!

what a day it was : )

sorry, didnt take any photos. blame my mood.

SUNDAY (3rd dec)

JLPT day. i didnt study. totally. no revision no nothing.

i left home in the morning instead to go to St James' Power Station for the 8 Days flea market. i wanted to go as i heard there was a dude selling his Polaroid cameras. found him, it was superrrr tempting for me to buy one camera from him, but i held myself back, because i already have one. maybe next time... if they're still for sale.

JLPT was. MEH, ok. my vocab is REAL BAD. i screwed up some parts, like, I KNEW that was the answer, but instead i shaded the WRONG circle wtf. thats gona cost me at least 8 marks. damnit.

LISTENING was HELLLLLLLLL. my brain kept shutting off halfway even though i was sitting quite in front. fuck, that section is a pure fail : (

Grammar.

was alright. if things go my way, maybe i could get less than 4 questions wrong.

AFTER JLPT.

HAD A HELL OF A TIME SEARCHING FOR A CAB. so i ended up walking alone for super long period of time, with no sense of direction. so i ended up in this FORESTED AREA, i found a hole, so i squeezed through the dense vegetation and i came to this hill, i went down it, and there was a CIVILIZATION. i saw a few peasants walking around. so, i kept walking until i found huts and forms of transport moving around.

i STOOD THERE FLAGGING LIKE HELL BUT TO NO AVAIL.

all the farking cabs are in RED.

TAMPINES SUCKS.

so i ended up taking a bus instead. and getting off halfway throughout the trip to take a cab. it's much faster than way duh. plus the cab fare didnt hurt. just $4.50

watched HERO. umm. i seriously dont know how to rate this movie. because i came like 1/2 hr late for this. and i dont get what's going on or whatever. BUT TAKAKO MATSU or whoever she is, IS PRETTY!

there is a footbal matchl coming up later at 4am. im contemplating whether to watch. but im already yawning now. plus i havent even showered.

i must get the polaroid type-600 twin pack film by this wednesday.

im seriously going real broke. my money status is dangerously in the red zone.

and i wana play SILENT HILL ARCADE !

at least once.

soon, im going have a farewell seafood dinner with my whole family,

getting tired. it ends here.

sounded hopeful but it's making me cry.
