hullo. i finally pushed myself out of my "lazy" zone to go blog blog blog. anyway, this week wasnt really much of a pleasant week for me. just so unlucky la. lady luck isnt on my side this time.
some rewinding back.
THE PREVIOUS SATURDAY.
after usual japanese class, went down to meet jingguang for pool. was kinda "on-form" during the match we played, so it rocked. by 6pm, went down for Peng's Birthday Bash over at his place at Serangoon Gardens. i knew that the party would start at 5pm, by the time we reached there it was close to 730pm, and i thought we were late as hell, but actually we were considered really early. barely any other people we know showed up yet. just his relatives and a couple of his school/clubbing mates. had my long awaited dinner, the food there was kinda good, all-you-can-eat style, but however, the satay sucked as it was cold. stayed around for a little while more, before thanking peng, took a few pictures together and left his place for VIVOCITY. cabbed down there. my god, the place is huge as fuck. and many shops were still yet to open. checked out GV there and to our dismay, all the movie times were in RED, and that obviously isnt a good thing. scraped the plan off our heads and went down to PS to play POOL again at the SAME place. and i sucked this time. pooled around till 1am, before having this really crazy idea to go back home ON FOOT. and YES, we did it. call me crazy. but it's possible. just it requires a LOT of patience, and leg endurance too.
And our journey almost took forever. before officially starting our so-called "walkathon", we bought 2 bottles of drinks, at rip off prices at this 24 hours indian stall. fucked up. imagine paying $3.30 for a bottle of WATER and H20(isontonic drinK). our "journey" was basically just one hell long straight road down. just straight all the way only till we reach Serangoon MRT, and had to make some minor turns. just the 2 of us. at first, we're talking non stop to entertain each other knowing the trip would take really long, but after 1 hour of talking, we barely even reach FARRER PARK.
the scariest part would be walking past the "exhumed" cemetery alongside POTONG PASIR. but other than that, though it was an extremely TIRING trip, it was worth all the fun, maybe except for the aching legs...
MONDAY.
fucking hell. woke up at 12pm, which was like already a doomed time. and my dad was making noise, luckily he doesnt know of my timetable or else he would make further noise. so i hurriedly left home, brought out my laptop. i just HAD to go out somewhere, or else my dad would smell a rat and think im skipping school. 72ed to Hougang MRT as usual. then there was this small crowd gathered outside those "tap-in machines" and they were kinda blocking the way, so i politely excused myself to get through it to the "doors" and im stopped in my tracks by an SMRT dude. he asked me in chinese, where i was going. and the most irritating part was, he called me "XIAO DIDI". i got annoyed. got told that the NEL service is down at the moment and there's a free shuttlebus service to POTONGPASIR MRT, which i wonder, of what use would i go there for since he said NEL service was already down? bo bian. so i just came up to the Interchange in search for that free shutterbus service. found NOTHING at all. then got a sms from jbean to meet her down at RP, i agreed. i needed to kill some time anyway. and i havent seen her in 2000 years.
APPROXIMATELY 2pm, down at RP.
saw kathy there too, with some other person i duno. the weather's humid as fuck. the aircon @ Macdonalds was heavenly. oh ya, didnt mention about the haze conditions for that day yet. well, the PSI was 900. and buildings within 1km radius were almost invisible. bought a meal to suppress my hunger. Sha Li came and stayed for 25 seconds and left. met a new person later, Priscilla. also, staying as leaving as fast as ever. and it's about time, took out my laptop, cam-whored around a while before turning on a movie.
caroline came down soon after. watched a few crappy prank videos before settling on to the main course, Ju-On, that is. and that scare factor is down by 99% since the environment is soOoOoo noisy, and whenever the ghost pops out, it wouldnt make my heart beat any faster. tsk. caroline left. watched a little while more before going off to the bustop and leaving for town.
thank god, NEL service is back operational again. got a call from muneh not long after i boarded the train to go down to town. went to CINE and watched Stay Alive, his treat. and here's my view on the movie. IT SUCKED. that was a shitty piece of film. loose plot. should have watched World Trade Center instead. but heck, i didnt pay for it anyway, i dont feel much of the heartache. films nowadays are quite unpredictable. you just wont know whether it will rock or it'll suck, especially after watching the trailers. and the trailers really know how to captivate its audiences. smart move, directors.
dinnered at PS. pool. went back home. im tired as fuck.
TUESDAY.
NOTHING SPECIAL. on to WEDNESDAY.
WEDNESDAY(TODAY)
Probably the first day ever that im the earliest for class. arrived in school at 930am. class starts at 10. and there wasnt anyone in sight. not until 945, where some dudes start coming in slowly, one by one. had AURAL EXAM today, and my hearing is total crap. i knew i would fail. joined Iris and some other dudes for lunch over at the coffeeshop across school. went over to Esplanade's Library to become nerds for a while. and whattt a coincidence, met youk there. Iris and Isaac left later as they had to go back to school for dreaded GAMELAN. i stayed on a little more, spotted this book which had some really good guitar solo practices inside. borrowed it. was actually supposed to be playing pool, but there was a change of plans, so i went home instead. and crapppp, i got the DREADED call from MONA LIM, my aural teacher, AIYAHHHHH, i already EXPECTED IT LA. i failed my exam today. she was being her usual Palawan Beach self. emphasized over the phone that i needed "A LOT A LOT A LOT A LOT" of practice before sitting for my re-test 2 weeks from now. MRT-ed home just in time for Princess HOurs. and here i am.
Still contemplating whether i should watch the BIG soccer match later, LIVE. Barcelona VS Real MAdrid. and i want Barcelona to win. but at the same time, im feeling kinda tired. and i've been frequently SICK these days. i guess it must be the fucking haze's fault. I have FLU and a fuckkkkking dry throat which hurts everytime i swallow something down. and a big load of phlegm. arghh. i hate being sick. ok, good night.
we walk along but never turn see what we have done
i choose my moves so carefully for you
i will not let you go,
but deep down inside, i know
that this wouldnt change you, no matter what.
