hullo. it's been a long and tiring day. a day i never expected it to be this long, but it was worth all the dumb stuff i did this entire night. it was nice. but first, a little backtracking...
FRIDAY.
hell boring day. i kept my word. i didnt go for school. then my dad started making noise. he went like, "eh it's already 1pm and you're still here sleeping. dont want to go school isit?!" i was still half awake, and lazily replied, "im going school laaaa. it starts at 3pm today. now just let me sleep a little while more." dad went out. and soon i was alone at home. i love the feeling. mom's at work. feeling a little guilty already, but it's a white lie anyway. school never starts at 3pm on friday. soon after, i was packing my bag, laptop and left for CP.
CP.
a bad choice.
i needed a place with free wifi. and macdonalds immediately popped up in my mind. but this outlet at CP is horrifying packed, and i cant stand the noise levels. so left and went to RP instead. such a siannnn day la, just ONE day before ABRSM grade 5 music theory exam, and i've got no ONE to study with. sat down at RP mac, it was far more peaceful, but it's just too quiet for my taste. i badly need company. at least one person to talk to. around me, were just faces i never recognized. after looking over notes, i went online and saw that muneh was home, and called the dickhead down.
he took forever. really forever. and once he finally came down, he stayed for a measely 10 minutes and ran away just like dat. fucking whore. might as well dont come in the first place. so i couldnt really take the boredom anymore, took my stuff and left for home. i guess this is the shortest day out for me.
SATURDAY. (today)
i slept bloody early last night. around 9pm. and i still fidgeted like crazy in my sleep because im NOT used to the new pillows. thanks A LOT, ma, for throwing away my old pillows without telling me. woke up at 715am, naturally, when my alarm clock was supposed to piss me off at 730am. miracle eh? went to switch on the computer, and as expected, no human would be awake this early on a lazy saturday morning. paper due to start at 10am sharp. venue, MDIS, orchard.
left the house reallllly early, 845am. and i missed my bus on the spot. since it's so early, i took 159 instead, a longer route. 925am, i walked past MDIS and was shocked to see 20840285025 kids flooding the entrance. at first i thought i was at the wrong place, but i took a closer look and saw the kids clutching the same confirmation slip as i do. just like an "entry proof" used in N/O level exams.
inside MDIS, it was far more like a primary ONE orientation day than an ABRSM music theory exam. so many kids, just really a lot and with parents alongside with them. but soon, things got better when one of the working staff inside had to shoo the parents away as they can no longer enter the examination venue. yes, it felt so much better. let me see, i could do a pie chart of the students there. hmm, about 92% of the kids look primary two and below, 5% makes up secondary school students, but mostly lower sec students and lastly, the small 3%, makes me and a few other older students. the rest of the older students were mostly girls la.
the EXAM.
the verdict? it was an acceptionally OKAY paper, though i counted around 10 marks to be flying away, so i could no longer get my MERIT, so i'll just say a hello to a normal PASS. duno when i'll get my results anyway. should probably be next year. after finishing the exam, i had 1 hour and 20 minutes before japanese class. walked to orchard from ps to kill time. met Joel and his friend later. he wanted to check out the japanese part-time courses over at my school. good. more people interested in learning this sweet language. i have been studying japanese alone at home for almost one full year, and it's really boring. at least one study khaki, that's all i ask for.
so, after class, was supposed to play pool, but there were last minute changes, and i ended up going back home. but, got an invitation from jbean to have dinner later, and that lightened up my mood a little. finally, at least something to do. reached home and put some life into my dying IPOD. slacked for a while more before leaving for RP, and i thought i was the one who was gonna be super late, but i ended up waiting longer. nevermind the waiting, i did some really dumb stuff hahah.
at first i thought they were all busy in school with the helping out shit, i found an unlocked gate at the side of SKSS, and went in. as soon as i stepped into somewhere near the classroom grounds, there was this blasting loud sound which gave me a minor heart attack. so i got really scared and ran out of the school. and the loud noise came from the "gig" on the big field in front of RP. and that is the real location where they were. found them finally.
they were still busy. and it was getting really late. i went across the road, sat down at where a fire hydrant was, and just looked at them do their stuff. naturally, got bored and i whipped out my laptop, and a miracle happened. i randomly connected to a wireless router and i got IN! even though the signal's quite weak, the internet connection was fast. then in that few seconds of ecstacy, i screamed over to them across the road, "HERE GOT INTERNET CONNECTION!!!"
and once i looked back at my screen, i lost the connection. fuck. and couldnt connect back again. so i guess it must be really too far away. i have no idea what time they finished doing their stuff, but eventually they came to meet me. went over to MAC, yes, even though im really sick of mac, i only go there not for food, but for the free wifi.
and all that stoning around while waiting for them made me hungry. bought the same meal i've been buying over the past few times i came over there. chicken mcnugget meal. thanks jbean for the service hahah. soon... david and bakafish arrived. we didnt stay at mac for long la, since it was realllly late already, though mac seems to be packed with skss guides, it feels so much like 8pm, but in reality, it's 1030pm. watched a few horror clips courtesy of my macbook. and yes, it's scary. kinda forgot to play around with photobooth like i always did. what a waste. ahhah.
1035pm.
seems that everyone left already. so it's left with me, jbean and another shumei over at the 88 bustop, waiting for my bus to arrive la. and i took out my lappy again to play some songs and watch music videos. and the miraculous things... my lappy mysteriously connected to a router nearby, and i got internet. purposely missed two 88 buses just watching the videos. and finally i took the bus at 11pm. and almost slept in the bus la, it was one hell of a tiring day.
and tomorrow is HALLOWEEN DAY. my scream costume in the wardrobe is calling out for me. i have an urge to wear it too. i have no plans for tomorrow. but if possible, i wanna celebrate halloween, though not having a big party, just a day out to chill with friends is all i ask for.
i'm all sticky and sweaty now. and i have to wake up early tomorrow. so.. good night.
