hullo. was actually supposed to be updating yesterday night, a SUNDAY, but since it was too late, 4am, i decided to blog the next day(today) instead. i needed the sleep. though just 5 hours, at least i had some rest.
SUNDAY.
met jon at cityhall. i'm late, and im sorry for it hahah. was supposed to be meeting him at 1130AM, but i came one hour later instead. and he waited. such patient people are a minority. ok, so we went to X06, which is short for xbox 2006. an event for nerds like us to get to demo new upcoming video games on the video game console. the venue is real cool la. the event was situated inside a TENT. a really big one, but it was dome-shaped. ok, so we stayed on, playing the games and viewing demos for about an hour or so before my stomach started grumbling.
X06 wasnt what i expected. last year's event was way more happening. i'm disappointed that they changed the venue, last year it was at ZOUK, and being a club, it had age restrictions, and i actually like that, because i fucking hate to see little kids hogging the video game booths. and also, im of legal age! eye candy was also absent. where have all the xbox girls gone to? hahah. their presence would certainly spice up the event.
then went to the foodcourt at Raffles City for lunch. bought at some thai food stall, beef char kuay teow, since the picture looked dammmn tempting. but the picture lied. it didnt show any beansprouts in the picture, when my meal came, it was more than half filled with beansprouts, and it pissed me off big time. it was like paying $4.50 for a meal of beansprouts with char kway teow.
and my lunch was a big waste of money la. left raffles city and went to Far East plaza to collect my Death Note book. like, FINALLY la. i was glad that the stock arrived faster than expected. took a bus there instead. while going up the escalator to cross the bridge, saw a bunch of japanese high school students, most likely they are on some school tour here. and they are really good looking people la. the guys have really nice hairstyles, and overall they look really good. and the girls? need i say more? angelic, cute, pretty, too many words to describe them.
got my notebook and walked over to somewhere near PS to play pool. played for about 3 hours straight? went to PS for dinner. and... the weather for today was unpredictable, so it was annoying. before i left my house for cityhall, it started raining like there was no tomorrow. i had to run through the rain despite getting wet, thus destroying the hairstyle. then when i was in town, it was reallly warm and humid. and the sky showed totally no signs of impending rain. and by nightfall, while walking back to PS, it started pouring. and i get wet again. having a long sleeved shirt on mixed with sweat and rainwater is so yucky.
and so that was the whole of SUNDAY.
MONDAY. (today)
i thought i was gonna be late today. as i missed my bus and the time was rather late also, so i took 159 instead. and to make things worse, i missed one MRT. and had to wait 6 bloody minutes. but, it was a miracle, i reached school at 12pm sharp. because bus no.14 came really quick today. took my theory retest today. and it was quite a headache on the last few pages. because grade 6 questions came out, and im only a grade 5. but teacher did teach some of these stuff in class, i wrote them down, but i didnt know he'll be putting it in our test. and it's irritating that he had to put those grade 6 questions worth SO MUCH marks. like one question 20 marks? while meanwhile, the other questions were worth like 6-8 marks. imbalanced.
and i hate today. although i was dismissed almost 3 hours earlier than usual, i was a complete shadow in school, that totally dampened my mood. i have to bear with it now. and i want the holidays to come quicker, so i wouldnt show myself in the school grounds anymore. and i went home immediately after school. how unlikely of me. but good thing, i saved money today, i didnt eat out. i just carried a few cookies in my bag, and survived on that for the day.
something random now. i wanted to blog about this some time ago, but i kept forgetting. it's about my DAD. he's just like a pokemon. a SHELLFISH type. last week, when he was home, and i happened to be home too, he asked me to run an errand for him. which is to buy lemons at NTUC below. i was reluctant as i wasnt wearing any pants, and im not naked, i wear only boxers when im in my room. so i decided to be a "good" son and go run that errand. but i asked for a small thing in return. a small tip. i wanted $4. then he said a big NO in my face. and he said he'll only give me $1 at most. talk about stingness. i still ran that errand though. because i have a heart.
ok. it's about 3 minutes to GOONG. and im gonna end this entry for today. i wouldnt wanna miss tonight's episode. byee.
I've seen lovers dancing in windows
and I was under the impression
that you felt the same way, too
