hello 2007. it's been a year already. time really flies. and this is the very first post of this new year. 2006 has been a mixture of fucked up moments and some really good ones too. life has so far been balanced to me. ok, i havent been blogging in a long time again i know, some back tracking as usual, i have a lot of stuff to blog about, but i'll try to keep my posts summarized in short paragraphs or else nobody would wanna stare at draggy long, clusters of words. and pictures too, to compensate for the amount of words.
DECEMBER 26, 2006.
THIS was Yukie-san's final few hours in Singapore before she flies back to Nihon. met her at Orchard MRT station at 2pm as suggested, and i was late for about 10 minutes, oops. the weather was a bitch la. non-stop pouring and i was dodging raindrops while running to the bustop nearby my place. i was going to introduce her one of my favourite eating places.
Far East Plaza.
went to the 3rd floor and had chicken rice from this stall that i regularly patronized last time. aiya. sad to say, that place has a slight drop in standards. the chicken rice just wasnt as good as it was then. and how embarassing, i got the price wrong, i told her it was $2.50 for a plate, when it was actually $3. shit!!! but i'll still thank her because she paid for my food that day.
went down to level ONE, and introduced her to Chippy's British Takeaway's Fried Mars Bar. that dessert is extremely sweet, but i like. after that, went over the Lucky Plaza for her to buy her souvenirs. Orchard doesnt have complete shade from the rainy weather, and since i didnt bring an umbrella, i shared it with her.
lastly, we walked over to Wheelock Place, stayed there for a while around there, visiting the Apple Center there, cam-whored around for a while before we realised that it was getting late and she has to get back to take grab her luggage and be off to the airport.
840pm. Changi Airport.
she rushes to check in. i scrambled behind her because i have my farewell gift to pass it to her. in that moment, i dropped my psp damn hard on the floor. but thank god, it has its cover on, or else it would add more to a heartache. now i'll be extra careful in moments like these, my LAPTOP is with me almost all the time, if i drop my baby, i'll end my life.
and she went off. see you again another time, yukie-san. in japan.
i'm feeling lazy now, i'll continue the next part of my blog's entry on another day. till then, ja ne.
