hie~~~~ here's a review of the weekend. so far has been quite a swell weekend for me :D:D:D:D:D it's now 2am, havent bathe yet, but gona do soon as long as i'm done writing this.
SATURDAY.
was kinda excited as i'm going for sgcafe's sakae cum ElleLawliet's birthday celebration meetup. was actually keen to make new friends. and so, we were supposed to meet at plaza sing's starbucks out there at 1230pm. and i left my place at 12pm -_- so i know i will not be on time, but since my wallet got replenished with cash, i decided to cab there instead :D
BUT. that was actually a very very wrong decision.
you see, thinking back, i realized that i could actually STILL be on time, as Dhoby Ghaut is just 15 minutes MRT ride away, and the bus going there takes no longer than 15 minutes, so if i were to be late, it would only be around 5 minutes.
here's comes the hellish part.
i actually STOOD by the roadside flagging for cabs for FIFTEEN minutes straight. and most of the farking cabs were either OCCUPIED or BUSY. and there were some dumb drivers who put up the green sign above, but they just drove past me when im flagging like hell -_- and SOME were fucking rude drivers. hope they crash and die. cheebye.
i really cannot stand it when they stop by, roll down their windscreen to ask where i'm heading, after saying so, they just drive off without saying a thing. choosy bitches.
and even more sian part. there was this time i ALMOST got this cab, i saw it coming, flagged really furiously, then suddenly out of nowhere, this ah ma came out and stole the cab from me, about 30meters out. you'll know how fucking frustrated i was.
cut to the chase, i got a cab FINALLY later, but it's not at my area. i went somewhere instead to flag for it instead. cabbing to town is quite fast, took me only 15 minutes. alighted and faster run to starbucks.
ok, and so, we went to SAKAE @ ATRIUM. i didnt even knwo there was SAKAE there. never seen. but always walked past withouot realising it's there ahhaha. ok la, so lunch was pretty okay. ours was the buffet, so we had sushi plates furiously coming in. and ya, a free bowl of udon. the sushi there is nothing to shout about. and i was the first to get full -_-
after a while, they started to play this game, i find it retarded la, but it's damn funny as long as you dont forfeit the game. in other words, seeing others suffer. hahah. so this game is called "1 to 100" one person decides a random number, then the rest have to guess it. it's quite a fast flowing game la, and i got forfeited ONCE, and i was super full at that time, had to force myself to down 2 more salmon sushi.

we were sitting on 2 rows, and the row in front of me got forfeited wayyy alot more times. talk about bias-ness. lol. ok after that we went down to the arcade nearest to DHoby Ghaut MRT. then got super bored as i dont have a card, and neither am i interested to play any games, so we went up to Plaza Sing's 6th floor to hog the pianos.
after much piano-ing, someone suggested to watch a movie, so we walked over to Cathay to check out whatever movies they got. they werent any nice movies, but we settled on an NC16 show eventualy, but due to money and age constraints in our little group, we dropped the movie plan. i suggested to have dessert at BEN&JERRY's instead.
they had this little birthday promotion, 10% off Vermillion icecream, which is a crazy set of 20 scoops of icecream. but no one is willing to pay $80 for that lol. so i chose the usual Mix N Match set. only 3 of us ate anyway.
walked over to Paradiz. wanted to play lan over there, but the shop didnt have O2 jam to cater to our non-CS playing people, so dropped the idea and went to play POOL instead.
and i'm super rusty at pool la. havent played in MONTHS. but still, all of us had super fun.
tabao-ed food for dinner @ Suntec City and brought it up to Manga Oasis to eat. there, we sang a birthday song for Elle as she got her cute little slice of cake, courtesy of the Manga Oasis staff. after a while, somemore familiar faces of SgCafe came. but i never really talk to them, nor do i even know their forum nicks. one whole group was busy playing Monster Hunter on their PSPs, while the rest of us have nothing to do, but to sit around and talk cock for a while.
10pm.
i left with a small group, while others still stayed on, engrossed in their PSP gaming. got to know sgcafe-er Queen Of HoHoHo there. his Avatar is award-winning. was told to attend TPOC's club "meeting" at Manga Oasis this coming wednesday at around 3pm onwards lol. but i dont know. if im feeling lazy, maybe i wont go, otherwise if im super bored, i'll just pop by.
overall. it was a damn good day. great activity, new friends, great fun.
i told elleLawliet to hold somemore future meetups. my idea; lunch of cheesy fondue pizza at PizzaHut, followed by Ben&Jerry's dessert. and maybe a movie? and Pool session DEFINITELY.
but i dont know whether my plan will materialize. depends on whether anyone is up for it -_-
SUNDAY.
die liaoz. got piano lesson but i forgot to practise. more of, no time? hahah. she was pissed at me as usual, so i decide to compensate my horrible planning by staying back to practise in one of her rooms while she tutors her next student after me. practised till 6pm. and went back home.
just now.
watched a big EPL match. and i'm really, really pleased with the outcome. my favourite team beat CHELSEA by 2 goals to NIL. hahahha. chelsea seems really weak now without their "special one"
