it's a rather short day today. actually things screwed up my evening activity. there was actually supposed to be an sgcafe movie outing. but from the progress of the thread, and response, i already had a strong feeling from the start that it would not materialize. and duh, it didnt. the threadstarter is such a n00b. organize an event but left out so much details, such as time and place of meet, activities to be done, and worse, no contact number given. wtf. i actually wasted my time trying to retrieve his number also from other sgcafe ppl, just to know that it's been cancelled. bleh.

but that aside, the cancellation of that outing actually led to better things for me lol.

i met my mom over at Funan to change my ATM card into a Debit card. so i can use it as some sort of credit card now and buy things online under my name. but before that, i was loitering around the shops in Funan looking for a possible birthday present. and i bumped into some of my ex-Lasalle mates while having solo dinner over at KFC. it was quite awkward la but our conversation was quite funny. and i told her im waiting to enter NS hahaha. i cant just possibly tell her straight that IM WEARING A WIG. that would be.. quite embarassing. and it'll dampen my ego also.

i was busy eating and my mom kept rushing me to go up to POSB or else it'll close in "15 minutes time". bleh. i continued taking my own sweet time to eat.

so, the entire process of getting that new card was quick. but i would only get my debit card mailed to me within the next 2 weeks. which is a little.. err long. by that time i'll be stationed in my new farking Unit.

but after getting the new card with my name engraved on it, it wasnt the end.. yet. i sort of went window shopping with my mom for my birthday gift. and today ISNT my birthday. it's in 4 days' time. and how convenient that we're in FUNAN MALL. just the right place that i would wana be to be shopping for my birthday present hahaha. Last Year, i got an xbox 360 there too. but this year? hmmmm.

7pm.

we turned in circles looking at cool gadgets. but what should i really get.. video game consoles are definitely out. cellphones too. though i've always admired the iphone. and Japanese cellphones. and recently i've been looking at the Archos TV. which is basically a portable video player. up to 160gb of storage and has WiFi too for web surfing. but... do i even have THAT much of videos to watch in the first place? besides, singapore is so small, the longest time i spent sitting down stoning in a public transport is still lesser than 2 hours.

that leaves me with one last thing.

a camera.

after not much hassle, i settled on a SONY DSC T200. for a good $599, it has pretty good reviews online and in magazines. with a sleek look and wide touch screen, 8 megapixel camera. and i chose BLACK. woohoo. thanks for the camera, MOM!! a nice early birthday gift too. packed with some free gifts. including 4gb worth of memory sticks. good stuff, i could use it on my PSP too since it's also a SONY product.

happy i am, but that's not the end. i went upstairs to grab myself a PSP game. even though Ecchi modded my PSP yesterday to play pirated games, im just plain lazy to download any PSP ISOs off the net. damn time consuming also. so i rather buy it off the shelves for extra convenience. and i paid for this game myself. none other than the latest version of Winning Eleven lol!!

i know some of your jaws will drop. you're probably wondering how on earth i could be playing one staple type of game for so damn long on the PSP right. hahaha.

oh ya. i bought my mom a DORAEMON cake as her birthday present. childish as it may sound. but i think it looks cute hhahah. too bad i dont have any working camera or else i would have taken pictures of the stuff i've gotten today.

im a happy boy today.

goodbye to teenage hood.

argh fuck. im having a headache now. must be under eating again. i havent eaten anything much for this whole entire day. all i had was just 2 pieces of KFC chicken and pepsi for the WHOLE day. time to search for something to eat in the kitchen. this headache is irritating me.
